Controlling robots using a brain interface is nothing new. MIT is exploring the idea of doing that using an EEG cap. The operate simply watches the robot and his/her brain signals are used for behavior correction. The system looks for brain signals that are generated when the brain notices a mistake.

The robot changes its action when it detects “error-related” brain signals. The system classifies brainwaves in 10-30 ms.
