Smart shoes are nothing new. We have covered a bunch of them that can provide wearers with step-by-step directions and activity tracking. Boltt Connected Shoes, which you will be able to catch at CES, have sensors to track movements of the wearer. Using the companion app, users can track cadence, speed, calories, steps, velocity, acceleration, distance and power output.
The company is also introducing a Stride Sensor, co-developed with Garmin, to capture running metrics in real-time. The shoes keep your feet protected and provide you with data to improve your performance. You can find out more about these products at CES 2017.
