Alfred: Robot Chef with Machine Learning

In the future, robots will prepare and cook our food for us. Take Dexai’s artificially-intelligent robot Alfred for instance: it is a smart robot that can fully assemble meals. It uses machine learning and computer vision to get the job done accurately.

Alfred is controlled by a tablet. It uses machine learning algorithms to reduce waste while putting your meals together. When an order comes in, the robot picks up its bowl and uses a camera to detect ingredients and grab the correct utensil for each. Once the job is done, the robot uses its second arm to deliver the bowl.
