Meet the AirBoard: the world’s smallest aircraft that measures 80 cm (31″) by 110 cm (43″) and 140 cm (55″) in length. When closed, it takes 3 times less space. It is a manned aircraft that can lift one person but is small enough to fit in a car. It will have 4 high-speed electric motors and a lightweight unibody made out of aluminum and carbon fiber.
The AirBoard will use an Intel processor and can work with your smartphone. The flight altitude is limited to 1.5 meters though. AirBoard has a ground collision sensor for your safety. There is also a built-in GPS system and compass to provide you with speed and navigation data. You can control the AirBoard with a mobile remote application. We will have to wait to see how this will turn out. For now, you can find out more information on airboard.co.
