Aerolux Metal Sculpture Light Bulbs

Here are a couple of super cool collectible light bulbs that everyone should see. The Aerolux Metal Sculpture Light Bulbs were made from 1930s to 1970s. Unlike regular bulbs, these have a metal sculpture inside that glows beautifully in the dark. These were made in various colors and styles. They have al ow pressure gas inside (neon or argon) and phosphors to glow.

These light bulbs are pretty brittle, so they should be handled with care. They are not super bright, so you are better off using them as a night light. Aerolux light bulbs are pretty rare but show up regularly on eBay. The bad news? They don’t come cheap.
