OMRON FORPHEUS Table Tennis Robot with AI & Machine Learning

In the past few years, we have covered plenty of table tennis robots that can give you a bit of practice. The OMRON FORPHEUS takes it to the next level. It is a ping pong robot with AI that uses a 3-camera system to identify the ball and evaluate each player. The robot comes with a high-speed robotic arm and motion controller that tells it how to hit the ball.

FORPHEUS uses machine learning to understand its opponents and better coach them. The AI adjusts its level of play to promote longer rallies.
