It is no secret that cats love lickable treats. They are great for training them or to just help them regain their appetite. These lickables are made in a variety of shapes, sizes, and flavors. We recently had the chance to test 4 of the most popular cat lickable treat brands. The Hartz Delectables treat is available in seafood, chicken, and other flavors. These are by far our cats’ favorite treats as they can’t get enough of them. They also seem to have the most out of food.
The Pure Balance Puree gourmet cat treat comes with 0.5oz tubes. We had the chance to test the chicken flavor, which our indoor and outdoor cats absolutely loved. These are just about the same size as Hartz Delectables. All these treats are not only nutritious but great for keeping your kittens hydrated.
The Temptations Creamy Puree is sold with beef liver, salmon, chicken, and tuna flavors. Each tube holds 0.42oz of ingredients. While our small cats loved these, our 18 year old cat didn’t like them as much. The Café Nara Tuna flavored lickable treats sit somewhere in the middle. All of our cats liked it but were not as enthusiastic about it as the first two. These use natural ingredients, so they are very healthy for your pets.
