Many folks are trying 3D printers these days. They are not particularly expensive and a lot of fun. But you can do a lot with a 3D printer. Take Lyman Connor’s story for instance. This technologist was inspired to use his tools to 3D print a bionic hand after a serious accident. Bionic hands are not affordable. With the help of 3D printers and great folks like Mr. Connor, that could change. Truly an inspiring story, and we would love to see the young man in the story get in touch with this GE engineer.
