34″ monitors have been around for some time. Most people who have used one find it difficult to go back to smaller screens. You know what’s better than flat 34″ monitors? Two or three curved monitors you can put together to get even more display real estate. The good news is there are already a bunch of decent 34″ curved monitors available on the market. Here are a few you don’t want to miss:
Dell UltraSharp U3415W: this 34″ 21:9 curved monitor provides you with a panoramic view. The picture quality is quite decent. It features:
- Adjustable height, tilt and swivel options
- HDMI, MHL, Mini DisplayPort, DisplayPort, DisplayPort Out
- 4 x USB 3.0 ports
- 2 x USB upstream
- Viewing angles: 178° vertical / 172° horizontal
LG Electronics UC87 34UC87C: LG has a bunch of decent 34″ monitors. We loved the LG 34UM95 monitor. This curved version takes the experience to the next level. It has:
- 2 HDMI, 2 USB, 1 Display Port ports
- 3440 x 1440 Resolution
- Viewing angles: 178° / 178°
- Response time: 5ms
- Adjustable stand, VESA compatible
The LG 34UC97 monitor has a Thunderbolt, making it fully compatible with Macs.
Samsung 34-Inch S34E790C Monitor: not the cheapest option available on the market, but it does have a beautiful design. It features:
- height adjustable stand with tilt functionality
- 4-port USB hub
- Picture-by-Picture for split screen viewing
- Viewing angles: 178° / 178°
- Response time: 4 ms
- Support for VESA 100 x 100
HP Envy 34c Curved Media Display: not our favorite since we like using two or three 34″ monitors together, but it does have its fans. It features:
- 3440 x 1440 pixels resolution
- Response time: 8-14 ms
- Viewing angles: 178° horizontal and vertical
- Ports: 1 HDMI, 1 HML/HDMI, DisplayPort, 2 x USB 3.0, 1 USB upstream
- 6 Watt speakers
- Wall mountable
BenQ XR3501 Monitor: this is advertised as a 35″ inch monitor but close enough for us. The monitor features:
- Resolution: 2560 x 1080
- Viewing angle: 178° / 178°
- Response time: 12ms, 4ms (GtG)
- Low blue light for less eye fatigue
- Picture-in-Picture, Picture-by-Picture
- Ports: HDMI 1.4 x 2, DP1.2 x 1 + miniDP x 1
